Inside the Racist Mind of an Abortionist #blackhistorymonth

More from: http://margaretsanger.blogspot.com/

[Below is footnote #35 below from an Amicus Brief filed before the United States Supreme Court. It is notable due to the detestable quotes it contains from Abortionist Edward Allred. At the end of the footnote, we compare Allred's comment with those of Planned Parenthood foundress Margaret Sanger. Also below the footnote, we have added a quote from Neo-Nazi Tom Metzger and placed it side by side with the comments from Abortionist Edward Allred and Planned Parenthood's Margaret Sanger. ]

The highly inflammatory remarks attributed by several newspapers to Dr. Edward Allred, owner of the largest chain of abortion clinics in California, has caused some to attribute the abortion deaths of several Black and Hispanic women to racial prejudice.

"On the Edge of the Racist Pit," The Daily Californian, October 14, 1980, at 4B, col. 1. "Doctor Labeled 'Racist' in Abortion Suit," at B-1, col. 1 (describing a $14 million lawsuit filed against Dr. Allred in connection with the abortion death of 16-year-old Patricia Chacon in which it was alleged that Chacon had "received substandard medical treatment as a result of her race and ancestry, rather than medical treatment based on her . . . condition and needs," id. at col. 2, quoting Jack Schuler, attorney for Patricia Chacon's parents).

The following remarks upon which the allegation was made had been attributed to Dr. Allred in a story which appeared in the San Diego Union:

"Population control is too important to be stopped by some right-wing pro-life types. Take the new influx of Hispanic immigrants. Their lack of respect of democracy and social order is frightening. I hope I can do something to stem that tide; I'd set up a clinic in Mexico for free if I could. Maybe one in Calexico would help. The survival of our society could be at stake. . . . The Aid to Families With Dependent Children program is the worst boondoggle ever created. When a sullen black woman can decide to have a baby and get welfare and food stamps and become a burden to all of us it's time to stop. In parts of South Los Angeles having babies for welfare is the only industry the people have."- "Doctor's Abortion Business is Lucrative," San Diego Union, B-1, col. 1 (Oct. 12, 1980).

Dr. Allred's aversion to government subsidies did not prevent him from collecting approximately $3 million in public subsidies in 1980 for performing abortions. Dr. Allred's statements reflect the same philosophy as demonstrated by Margaret Sanger, the founder and heroine of Planned Parenthood when she said "[t]he most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We do not want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members." E. Drogin, Margaret Sanger, Father of Modern Society 33 (1986), citing Gordon, Woman's Body, Woman's Right: A Social History of Birth Control in America 33 (1976).

Neo Nazi Tom Metzger:

Covertly invest into non-White areas, invest in ghetto abortion clinics. Help to raise money for free abortions, in primarily non-White areas. Perhaps abortion clinic syndicates throughout North America, that primarily operate in non-White areas and receive tax support, should be promoted.”

Black Journalist Lucky Rosenbloom Speculates on Content of Margaret Sanger KKK Speech #blackhistorymonth

From the Margaret Sanger Blog:

“What do you suppose Margaret Sanger was talking about that made her so appealing to the KKK? I believe she was talking about killing 14 million Black babies. I suppose she was telling them of a way to kill four thousand “Ns” in four weeks using eugenics and abortions outdoing the number of “Ns” they lynched in 86 years…

Planned KillerHood was targeted by Civil Rights Movement activists in the 1960s and ‘70s for its involvement in a ”Black genocide.” Since 1973, legalized abortion has been specifically aimed at the African American population and has killed more Black people than cancer, diabetes, heart disease and gang violence combined…

This is a sad day for Black America. We are killing ourselves using the most racist, legalized tools today: abortions.” ~ Black Journalist Lucky Rosenbloom

Visit CatholicFiction.net, Subscribe to the e-newletter, Help Spread the Catholic Fiction Revival!

From Catholic Fiction:

Who we are:

CatholicFiction.net is a project of Tuscany Press, a dedicated publisher of Catholic Fiction and sponsor of the Tuscany Prize for Catholic Fiction.  The site is independent editorially and manned on a volunteer basis. Novelist and short story writer Arthur Powers and journalist Joseph O’Brien are the new Co-editors of CatholicFiction.net. We have a wonderful and growing list of volunteer reviewers, some of whom are professional writers, struggling writers, academics, editors, bloggers or would be writers but all of whom love Catholic Fiction books.

Please consider joining us as a volunteer Reviewer.

Our Mission:

To engage the Catholic community in a Catholic literary revival.

The site’s purpose is to promote Contemporary Catholic Fiction and their authors, celebrate the rich heritage of Catholic Fiction and gifted storytelling we have historically enjoyed in the Catholic community, and to pass on our humble knowledge of Classic Catholic Fiction.

The 21st century, we believe, is bursting with opportunities and ripe for a new Catholic literary revival.

Our Work:

On CatholicFiction.net, we post Catholic Fiction Book Reviews on Sundays and Wednesdays.   We look at Catholic fiction in every genre, both contemporary and classic, literary and popular. We occasionally review (from a Catholic’s point of view) novels which can in no way be considered Catholic, yet which deal with themes of interest to Catholics. In addition, we want to encourage writers of Catholic fiction to write, write well and get published.  We review books on the craft of writing, and related books that we believe are good resources for writers of Catholic fiction.

The Book reviews are organized by Contemporary or Classic category, and title, author and genre index to make finding reviews as easy as possible.

******

Us folks at the Culture of Life Review fully support this noble effort.  So head over to Catholic Fiction, subscribe to the terrific free e-newsletter, and if you really want to support the 21st Century Catholic Fiction Revival visit the crowd sourcing site.

More on Tuscany Press:

Who We Are

Tuscany Press was founded in June 2012 as the first press dedicated to outstanding Catholic fiction and its authors and readers.

Our Mission and Purpose

To spark the 21st-century Catholic fiction revival.

We want to engage the culture and bring the Catholic perspective to the hearts of everyone with stories of faith and doubt; sin, forgiveness, and redemption; mystery and adventure; and love and God’s grace.
For too long — not since J. R. R. Tolkien, Graham Greene, Walker Percy and Flannery O'Connor — the Catholic imagination has been missing in fiction.

Tuscany Prize for Catholic Fiction

The Tuscany Prize for Catholic Fiction rewards the best undiscovered and unpublished Catholic novel, the most outstanding young-adult Catholic novel, and a selection of short stories with a Catholic theme.

We need your help to compete in a global market to attract writers, discover their talent, and bring their works of fiction to you.
Please make your contribution to fund the Tuscany Prize for Catholic Fiction and help spark the revival!

Our goal is to raise the following prize monies:

  • Novel:  $10,000
  • Young Adult Novel:  $5,000
  • Short Story, 1st Place:  $2,500
        Total: $17,500

All the money raised —100 percent — will be awarded to the winners in honor of their artistic achievements. Help us find the outstanding undiscovered works of Catholic fiction and their talented authors.

Stretch Goal

If we surpass our original goal of $17,500 (thanks to all of you), we plan to fund the Tuscany Prize at the next level. That is,

  • Novel:  $15,000
  • Young Adult Novel:  $10,000
  • Short Story, 1st Place:  $5,000

         Total: $30,000

We are hoping and praying that, with the support of your contribution, we will achieve this stretch goal.

Your Impact

With your help, we can ignite the revival of Catholic fiction in the 21st century, and be able to compete in a global marketplace.
There are more than 75 million Catholics in the United States and a billion worldwide. There are outstanding writers out there, and they have outstanding stories to tell.
Your support will enable us to:
•  attract writers
•  discover outstanding stories of Catholic fiction
•  bring these stories with a Catholic perspective to you, your family, and your friends.

Other Ways You Can Help

Please consider sharing our mission to spark the 21st century Catholic fiction revival with your family and friends on social media.
It’s as easy as liking our Facebook page or tweeting about it. A little can go a really long way. You can make an impact!
A spark can ignite a flame, which can lead to a passion, which can create a movement.

Thank you

We thank you deeply for all you have done or will do to spark the revival of Catholic fiction in the 21st century.

Wanted: Creative Extremists

We could not agree more with Lila Rose and her call for "Creative Extremists."

From over at the ProWomanProLife Blog:

Oh yes we do. This interview with Lila Rose is not new, but it is very interesting. This phrase “creative extremists,” which she uses, is from Martin Luther King Jr., in his letter from a Birmingham jail.

Honestly, there is no doubt in my mind that within my lifetime we will see people change their views 180 degrees on this issue–and turn away from abortion as a valid option or choice. I think people like Lila Rose are helping us get there.

The Prophetic KKK Speaker: Margaret Sanger

From over at the Margaret Sanger Blog

The Prophetic KKK Speaker: Margaret Sanger

A tremendous article recently by Dr. Paul Kengor outlines the prophetic, demented, racist dream of former Ku Klux Klan Speaker and Foundress of Planned Parenthood, Margaret Sanger.

This one is a must read folks.  Go to Catholic Exchange for the complete article, The Prophetic Margaret Sanger, but below are a few excerpts:

President Obama has awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom to feminist icon Gloria Steinem. Steinem, in turn, said she hopes Obama’s action “honor[s] the work of Margaret Sanger,” liberalism’s iconic racial eugenicist.

It indeed has.

***

But there was more to Margaret Sanger’s vision. She wanted to advance what she called “race improvement.” She lamented America’s “race of degenerates.” This meant purging the landscape of its “human weeds.” This included a “Negro Project” especially close to Sanger’s heart.

Not surprisingly, among those most impressed with Sanger’s work was the KKK. The Klan invited the progressive heroine to one of their celebrations. She accepted. Margaret Sanger addressed her hooded brethren at a KKK rally in Silver Lake, New Jersey in 1926.

Today, Sanger’s Planned Parenthood is America’s most prolific killer of black Americans.
And now, in 2013, America’s first black president honors Gloria Steinem with an award that Steinem says honors Margaret Sanger.

The Devil works in mysterious ways.
